Doesn't look at all like dumping to me.

In fact, I wish there were MORE trades. Too often I see folks drop players and take the 20% hit (something I did a lot in my first few months).

Good for both GMs/players for finding a mutually agreeable transaction!

In fact, I wish there were MORE trades.

Started a 100 mil 20xx team and there was only 1 trade offer made to me and unless I missed it no trades completed by anyone in the league. :(

My last ATG league is a 140 mil league and only made 1 trade.

If you really like trading my suggestion is to play more 200 mil leagues. I cannot remember the last time I completed fewer than 3 trades and there was a ton more trade discussions.

My theory is the lower the cap the more likely someone on FA list will meet an opponents needs. Thus they see no reason to give up something to fill that need if it is preseason. Indeed, why waste time negotiating when you can just drop someone and pick up whatever you need. But with 200 mil the cream of the crop will be sitting on someone's roster. So if you want to change the chemistry of your team you gotta make some offers and negotiate. Of course I realize 200 mil is not for everyone.

I totally agree that trades in 200M are much easier to make than in lower caps. I was in a 100M league and I put a few trade offers out there and no one responded. Finally, an owner basically told me that I shouldn't expect to make any trades in a 100M league since there are always players available and making trades just doesn't happen.

I have been suspicious of Chuck 1234 ever since he made this trade:

SS Minnow Cruise Lines traded:
Foli, Tim (1982) ($520,000)

to Lazy Daisy Ranchers for:
Fisher, Showboat (1924) ($500,000)
