Yeah, he kinda resurrected his career a bit last year as a bull pen arm, but it happened in Seattle so hardly anyone noticed.

Bill- I did think about you while I was picking Perez, he sucked big time for the Mets, but why hate on Perez it was management that gave him all that cash?

Beleive me I have more than enough bile and hatred for the Mets brass, especicially former GM Miniya, who all but ignored the minors. Things are slowly turning under Alderson and hopefully we'll start seeing some of those decisions bear fruit in the next year or two.

But Perez was Maddeneing to watch. He'd look like sandy koufax one minute, and Nuke LaLoosh hitting the bull the next, and his whole demeaner was just one of "who gives a $#I+". Jason Bay was terrible for the Mets to, but I have nothing but respect for the guy cause you could see how much his play was tearing him up. Perez just didn't care, and to me that the biggest sin an athlete can commit.
