Since I'm new to this league, I wanted to confirm the Drop list requirements. It seems like everyone is dropping 15 players so far. The rules on the rules tab says we must release a minimum of 5 players. Is this the case or was the rule changed to dropping 15 players at some point?

9. Preceding the Free Agent Draft at the start of a year, all teams must release a MINIMUM of 5 players that they wish to exchange out for the purpose of redrafting. There IS NO MAXIMUM amount of players that may be dropped. The players MUST be released prior to the start of the Free Agent Draft and will be eligible to be redrafted in that same Free Agent Draft (provided that they played in the Major Leagues in the previous season). If (through unbalanced trades) you enter the Free Agent Draft with LESS than a 40 man roster, you will get as many extra rounds necessary (in addition to those you receive for player drops) to bring your roster back up to maximum capacity.

Kev, you are correct you only have to drop 5. Speaking for myself, my team sucks so I want as many draft picks as possible. Also this league has a much deeper draft becuase there are no prospects and we didn't have a supplemental draft last year. I'm sure guys are dropping more than usual to get a deep draft in the deeper talent pool.
