I have Kauffman Stadium (Theme League, unique Stadiums. $100 mil cap). What are the thoughts on tis team? SGT D

I am horrible at $100M. Except for tourneys I stick to $80M, but here goes.

Not sure what your rotation is, but the $9.39M spent on Strasburg and Sabathia should go to a 4th SP* or cheaper SP.
Weak Defense at SS and CF. No depth to your OF.
At Kauffman you will lose a lot of BP Hrs from Youkilis,Butler and Belt.

not a real fan of the team, I'm beign honest. Rotation too LH (look at the Kershaw thread below this), bullpen not very good, defense is very subpar.

Good: Wright, Gordon, Rios
OK: Mauer, Jeter, Walker

Not sure why you have Wright, Butler, Keppinger and Youk. Seems like not enough spots.

there has to be some better hitters out there to spend your money on. Or at least improve your pen at the very least.

I mean it looks like you have 2 guys to many. Even if it's injury coverage that's too much to spend with Wright and Butler a max 3 game injury. Somewhere among those 5 guys you have only 3 positions. With Mauer able to play 1B as well (and better than Kep or Belt) there has to be a way to drop 2 of those and improve your 1B (or C if you move Mauer to 1B), 2B and/or CF plus your bullpen.

Seems like the extra starter, Stras, and his 4.5, could have been used for an upgrade to the outfield. With 4 SP* it's a waste to have him. Probably good trade bait though.

We live drafted the first 13 picks and a stadium. I am confused on how the defense and offense is bad,

3B- Wright (R) 2e11, .306 & .391

RF- Rios (R) 2e7, .304 & .334
DH- Butler (R) .313 & .373

Once the waivers run I will be looking to waive some of the players. I want to run a true 5-man rotation. The lineup is balanced with 4 LH and 4 RH batters with 1 switch hitter. Keppinger can hit and cover 1B, 2B and 3B so that means Youk (auto-drafted) will go, I did not want Brach (RP) as he was auto-drafted and he will go. I have Chase Field, Nationals Stadium and Coors in my division. The guys I play with are ruthless as we have been playing together since the "01" or "02" season (with a few who drop out and we add someone new). We start with $100 mil all players, unique stadium followed by $80 mil, AL only with unique stadium the we wrap-up with $80 mil, NL player only and unique stadium. I know I lack in the power department and that was why I went with the high BA & OBP's guys. I have never had this strong of a SP staff in the league before and want to run a true 5-man rotation. I have never been able to manipulate the bullpen settings like others can where someone like Kimbrel can throw over 200 innings. I will tinker with the team once 5pm waivers run and see what happens. Overall, I think your defense is OK, but as Scumby pointed out, CF and SS are pretty weak. The most important positions on the field are 2B, SS and CF and you are weak at two of those spots defensively.
