Chino Smith ...Great, bad or mediocre???

Anyone ever used Chino Smith...I have him in Polo '41....Great, bad or mediocre??? or are Ott or Delahanty or P. Waner or ???? who would be a better choice... Maris is gone as is Stearnes...Thanks in advance ...http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/team/821978

Chino has been okay for me...but in Polo I would go with Ott...

I used him once once when his card was first added and really loved it.

Have maybe used it once since and that was probably a long time ago. When just looking at the dope, his card just doesn't seem so great anymore. Sooooo many other good hitters now. :twisted:

I've used him a few times with good to great results. Never bad.

I love him in a small-ball park ... maybe not as inclined to use him elsewhere. But he's always good for 200+ hits, .390+obp, .500 slg, and a ton of extra base hits. Also, hits RHP and LHP well. One of my favorites.

I have only put him on draft card a few times. But whenever I get him as consolation always stick with him.

offense wise he is like the 9+ mil waner, but with more a little more power.
