Well.........assuming he didn't miss over a third of the season, he hits fine. Only time I used the '99 card, but that was the theme - no one over 599 plate appearances.
I have drafted this card several times intending to use thinking I would use the savings to upgrade somewhere else. But every time in the end I am too risk averse to stay with plan and switch to the less injury prone card.
I got more AB's from him on this team in Shea '71 but not as much production as thaibill. Did well against RH pitching - .301/.372/.676 but not so much against LH pitching - .248/.314/.435.
He usually hit 5th behind Terry, Collins, Bonds, and Mantle (and sometimes 6th with Mauer ahead of him) - so that may account for all the RBI's.
