80's Keeper Draft. Name your Protected Players!! Please

Yes we are playing with the dh but I think you can not have 2 keepers be of the same primary position. Which rice and Pedro have as lf.

I say let him re-pick now. It was an honest mistake. The only players he could pick that get affected are Lynn & W.Clark. If he wants Will the Thrill, I'll just pick another guy. Plenty of talent still available. Either way, lets resolve it & keep the draft moving. Bigdinkent can pick his stadium in the mean time.

Didnt think there was any question of letting him re-pick. Just no one else should pick a player till he does. He should be allowed to pick Lynn or Clark if he wants but there are alot of options.

As to DH- yaeah- it is DH - but that is one of the reasons why I asked for confirmation of primary positions ((particularly about guerrero).

My prediction is that the "protected player" draft is going to be a massacre of everyone switching DHs (i.e. everyones second 1B and LF, with a couple of RFs thrown in)

Can I pick up Lynn?

guess we should wati for a ruling by the guy in charge or if piazza says ok, but I think you should be able to.

Anyone know of another way to get in touch w/the commish? I sent him a P.M. a while back about this but no response. Someone know Piazza or P.M. him? We are wasting a perfectly good Sunday on this. Lots of picks should get done on the weekends!

Sorry folks! I had an unexpected trip to the ER... Went to a local clinic today, as I got an infection in a shoulder that was just operated on.. and passed out right there from the fever. Got a not so free trip to the er via ambulance and then! i had to take a cab home! which was almost 25 miles.

Anyhoo, do we still need a re-pick? Has all this been figured out now?

Nobody should be asked to give up a pick. The rules are plain and simple to follow, yes mistakes will happen but it is up to the individule to keep track of Pos. for players.
