So, what are peoples thoughts on the bench draft. I was thinking every player is available, sorta like gambling. Ya think David Price is gonna be traded to the Cards? Draft him, just cant use him till he has a NL card, sorta like the unleashed players...

Any thoughts on this? Is there a strong concenses either way? Of course, all SOM online league requirements still have to be met, and all league requirements, only players we can use in the game and have on our active roster are NL carded players. But, do we want to include every MLB player for our bench draft? Would add a new twist.

For example the upton that went to the braves, has an AL card this year, but will have a NL card next.

Or maybe its just the fever talking lol...

Would take away from the theme IMO! Good with whatever though...same rules for everyone!

I am in bed! Laptop! lol Sitting here, switching tween reading book 3 of The Game of Throwns, watching season two (again) of the Walking Dead, and perusing the threads here. lol Hell, much more of this, and I ll end up with bed sores lol.

Also, I cannot wait till the site is compatible with my ipad. Supposedly, SOM is working on an app like feature. Think I read that somewhere anyway.

I loved book 3 in the Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire series. I am about 3/4 through book 4 myself. Enjoy!

I am kind of on the fence about the bench draft. I am not sure I fully understand the concept, but it seems to me it would be more fun to be able to draft those league-changers in a pre-season free agent draft. Has anyone seen that kind of thing in other leagues active on SOM?

I wonder if people would be open to the idea that if one of the players on your roster is traded to the American League you get the players (next season) that came over.

i.e If you have Holliday and he is traded for Andrus you'd get elvis automatically next year.

Interesting idea. My first thought is that it would be tough to determine, if Matt Holliday and Allen Craig were traded in a package deal for Josh Hamilton, who gets Hamilton.
