Big M, it's Saturday, no clock. DJ has until Monday at 1pm EDT.
That said, I sent him an email just letting him know that his proxies ran out and that if he had time to pick to go for it. It's a holiday weekend so he may be busy.
Some thoughts on Rodney v Kimbrel:
First of all, there isn't much difference between them. Coors should actually favor Kimbrel because he has no BPSI v LHP.
Because of this Kimbrel is a little bit better v LHB in high single parks, but Rodney would be slightly better in low single parks.
V RHB The have about the same OB, but Rodney has more hits, but also has 4 DPs. But Kimbrel has the nod because hits are more damaging than walks.
I haven't loaded proxies, but I will be checking in on and off over the weekend.
Now, the thing that makes Rodney actually a bit better v RHB is the "intangibles". Kimbrel has a 1-20 WP, is a +5 hold and is a 3 whereas Rodney is a 2. When pitchers are this close, it can tip the scales. In fact in a small single park, Rodney is goign to get the nod v LHB because of this also.
Corky, thanks for sharing your stats. IMHO, it just shows the variability in a dice game because theoretically these two guys shold be neck-and-neck every single time.
