His bullpen choices are performed correctly! CLOSER set to MAXIMIZE. Luckily I have the stud Norberto to come in and save the game for me.
As I posted above I have been real pleased with the upgrades to the computer manager (Hal) especially the use of pinch hitters, defensive replacements and bullpen usage. Except the computer manager keeps pulling my ace Kyle Lohse in the 6th inning when he has only given up one run. No one (or thing) is perfect. I do have Lohse on slow hook.
Should be noted hal went through 5 relievers in that sequence. The computer manager has a much better chance of looking good with a full bullpen available than the 3 man bullpens so many use.
I posted that same thought some time ago Valen. Guys try to cut corners in their spending, especially in the pen. But with the right choices/depth...HAL makes it work.
