The last active qualifying manager, DrPublix, has finished in style, claiming the League 8 championship. That moves him into a tie with tmm6883 for 25th spot in the final standings. Each of them now has a single championship with no other playoff appearances in the qualifying events, so a 'pick-3' would be needed to break the tie.

Presumably, one of them would be 1st alternate if needed for the Champions League. Stay tuned.

mesquiton, please do the pick 3. I'm afraid we have yet to hear from Duval. Please proceed to determine the 25th seed and replacement manager by the pick 3 tiebreaker, thanks.

OK, will do. Usually the managers involved would pick their lottery states for the pick-3, but if no one objects, in the interest of saving time, I'll go ahead and assign alphabetically the first two east coast states with pick-3's tonight to the two tied managers:

Draws should be made within the hour. The "Play 3" (not the "Midday 3") will be used for both states. LOW number wins. I'll monitor and post results as soon as available.

Man, so close, and yet so far. . . Again. First, 2 extra wins would have gotten me in and now it turns out that just one more would have as well (or better luck with the lottery draw). Oh well. Best of luck to everyone who did make the finals
