Food for thought:
I know there has been some thought that this is the slowest draft on record. However, if we finish by Wednesday morning this draft will be finished quicker than NLD 31 (17 1/2 days), as we will reach the 16 day mark at 1pm today. And that includes the delays in round 1. If we count the draft as having started on the 18th rather than the 15th then we are barely at the 14 day mark.
Considering we started on a semi-holiday weekend (St. Patricks) and are concluding over a long Easter weekend that is pretty good. A lot of the delay can be accounted for the slowness of the site. For example on Friday morning, it took me 30-40m to get a pick and 2 proxies into the site. I did not have another 30m to spare to put in another round of proxies on what was a stat holiday here in Canada as I had family commitments. And I've seen several others have the same issue - just not enough time to spare to put in a lot of proxies because of the slow site speed.
I am not sure what is causing the slowness - overuse? too much space used up on archived drafts? new server? Either way I think if the site was working at a more normal pace we would be more likely to get the draft done in the 10-12 day range as was the case in the past.
