Autodraft has run and some players ended up on teams where they did not belong.

For example, Brett Butler is on the Atlanta roster, where he actually belonged to LAD during the autodraft.

Please review your rosters and make sure that autodrafted players belong to you; i.e., that they were carded to your team and that, if they had cards for more than one NL team, that they were only drafted by the team for which they played the most MLB games.

Robin Ventura NYM 1999

PostWed Apr 10, 2013 9:55 am

FYI to Mets' managers, now and in the future:

Robin Ventura played 3B for NYM in 1999 and not for CHW (carded at $6.55 mil).

He is listed in the Excel spreadsheet as CHW, but I was unable to draft him there for the AL-only league.

After complaining to Strat, they noted the error and said they would correct the spreadsheet.

Just putting this out there.

I'll be honest, this just isn't as much fun to me as I thought it might be. I find I just don't have the time, energy, or the real want to make either in order to go digging into the past to find out things like Enos Slaughter played 11 games for Milwaukee in 1959.

If it's possible, I'd love to be replaced.

I'm committed to this though and won't bow out unless a replacement is found, and I'll have my team ready to go shortly so no hold up there for the league.

Sorry about that guys. If I was a little more of an old school baseball nut I think I might have really dug this one, it was just a little further out of my wheelhouse than I expected.

No worries, Ben, this IS a different format! I bet we can find a replacement pretty quickly...
