Lombardozzi might be on my draft card and the #1 waiver selection.

Wow, he's not that good. I was figuring I might end up cutting him!

Still, it's pretty funny.

Semp, you should be able to drop out, change your pick and get back in. As long as someone doesn't join at the same time you will go back into the same slot. At least that's what happened to me.

Hopefully Hawk will jump in so we can get everything ready to roll for next week.

Hey, does anyone know if you can change your manager once you've set your team up?

Joe,

I wanted diversity on my team. I needed an Italian to even out all the Irish guys. The chemistry element here is tough to figure out on a worksheet.

Fine!

I dropped my country cousin and went for another fine Italian statesman. :D

I hope he likes playing in Cleveland - it's a bit cold but he'll like the short left field porch.

In other news, I just made my payment to MLB "at bat" so I can catch my beloved Cleveland Indians on tape delay in China. Since I lost both season tickets to the Indians and the Cubs, dropping 21 clams to watch the radio play is huge.

Back to Strat-o-Matic, any thoughts in revising the loose set of NLD rules?

    Random league assignments
    Random draft order

Isn't it a RF porch?

Well, I assume you mean division assignments. The historical reason for the assignments and division is so that the same people don't make the playoffs and to "reward" your horrible season with a good draft position.

Now, I could be convinced that the draft order is chosen by the order of finish. i.e. if you finish last you get your pick of what position you want to be in. You might want to be in the middle of the draft instead of at the beginning for example.

As for division order, I think the way we work it works well and assures some rotation to the playoff teams.

I'm starting to remember why I missed this league. ;)

Love the chatter. Miss Jet's preseason rankings though, was always interesting seeing how accurate they'd be at season's end.

I have myself finishing 158-4. 8-)

Funny - that concept hasn't worked for me  Who can I complain to about that item?

Corky,

I've Joe's team finishing {ssshhhhhhh}. :D

Seriously, I'm going to earn the worst best team in the league. It's all or nothing for me. Anything less, I'm going to blame that I'm in China

Corky, I'll wait a bit before doing the ratings as they are more accurate that way. However, I'm pretty confident in predicting you wont' go 158-4. :p ;)

Semper, glad you're already making excuses for your team! :)

Can I blame another owner for starting the performance excuses first?

I didn't want him to take the heat - but I'm that kind of competitor. You can thank me later, Joe. :D
