Ha ha, Semp. Very funny. I got your thinly veiled shot at me, even if Joe is a bit slow on the uptake. I think I'd feel better about my chances if your team was in my division though. ;)

Since we're talking about changes for the future, maybe we could place team by geographical location. We could rename the divisions West, East, and Far East. 8-)

Do they play softball in China?

Sure Biggie so long as we play ATG ;)

I trust you're enjoying the 24 team shuffle format too. My 2013 Event #1 roster could be a scene in the Star Wars bar. :o

Well, I got the good Pedro and the good Mike Marshall, so I think you can guess my strategy.

I'm glad we're waiting a week before starting. Gives me that much longer to enjoy how great my team is before reality sets in.

I'm aware of a few Chinese herbs that can keep that feeling going for you.

Based on my faulty premise on relative start times, I'm league #5. As my travels continue, I'm near Tibet through Tuesday. The waivers run tomorrow early morning - the pseudo Starbucks opens at 8 am and not promptly.

For my Wrigley 1978 team

I missed out on one pitcher McMahon -> awarded Rollie Fingers (1982)

Hitters (pre-waiver)

C: Lollar (1955)
1B: Gehrig
2B: McAuiliffe
SS: Hanley Ramirez
3B: Santos (1967)

LF: Moise Alou
CF: Charleston
RF: Van Slyke (missed out on Musial)

DH: RHSP Heath (1941)
DH: LHSP Collins (1919)

The pre-waiver free agent pool best cards are Speaker (1912) and Hornsby (1929) unless you need Hank (1959) and Kiner (1949).

The free agent salary pool is empty in the $9 up to $7M ranges.

The division is mixed parks with just one L/R park scenario with Dunn and Minute Maid.

My waivers run sunday at 5pm (league 2) and season starts the next day. Not much to pick from as is, and not much time to do it.
