Just out of curiosity, how many of you are going to see the movie "42" coming out tomorrow (late tonight on the West Coast)?? The movie is supposed to be a true life depiction of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in major league baseball. I'll probably go sometime tomorrow evening to see it.

There also could be issues of others that would have taken Seay by now but have now taken other players which may have caused a ripple effect of other picks, etc that would not have been made.

I will withdraw my request to release Dick Seay. Unlike Charlie Finley with Mike Andrews, I will keep him on the roster.

I saw "1941" with John Belushi and Dan Akroyd. Is this a sequel?

It is nice to be respected, but people mistakenly think I am the guy to beat, I have one lifetime championship in 52 leagues. I changed my college major after taking one accounting class, I helped make the top half possible.

Such matters come down to fairness in timing. Unfortunately if we go until free agency with such a change it doesn't make it any more fair. It basically is the luck of timing and who is watching when the transaction happens. Then again we are talking Dick Seay here, not Josh Gibson.

The request was withdrawn so no need to rule on anything I suppose.

I dropped Accounting as my major in college after having a professor who thought he was a drill instructor with an over inflated ego...

I saw previews at a theater, where almost every movie looks good. I will see it for sure, just a matter of when. What are your top 3 (make it 4) all-time basball movies? I'd put the Ken Burns documentary at the top, but I mean movies here.

1. Eight Men Out - I like John Cusack, the romance of this era and this is a compelling historical story
2. Bull Durham - the mound meeting scene is worth the price of the movie
3. Major League - hilarious stuff
4. The Natural - Only saw it once but I remember really liking it at the time

Honorable mention: The Sandlot, Field of Dreams, The Bad News Bears, Pride of The Yankees

Gonna go watch Netflix baseball movie now!

I have yet to see Moneyball and never saw all of 61*. Didn't see Cobb either, but plan to.
