Hey guys,
Last week we started a poll to determine whether or not to use Division Randomization as the default for new leagues. Right now the default is that you are assigned divisions by the order you join a league. Either way we will still have the option to keep divisions by the order the league is joined. This is necessary for many leagues. All this would do is make randomized divisions the default option. Voting is still open until Sunday April 21st although making division randomization the default has started to run away with it. To vote/view the poll, click here.
The main point of this blog is to point out there is a Strategy Advice thread currently stickied in the Baseball Online 200x section of the forum. You can find it just by clicking here. This ongoing thread includes a myriad of links to an archive of the Sporting News forum for advice on different topics including how to build a lineup, explanation of the closer rule, how to count a card's value, and the great article on Offense vs. Defense. These and more links can be found in that thread, hopefully those that haven't seen the thread will now be able to locate these links.
Work continues on Live Draft, mobile apps, and the restoration of the manager ratings. As always if anyone has any suggestions for future blog topics and any questions/comments, please e-mail me at onlinegamesupport@strat-o-matic.com. Talk to you all next Thursday!
