Through 9 road games out of 12 played, 3 home runs on 18 ball park chances signals open season on starters

Nice to see the guys can out hit Joe's bunch in his ball park - can I rename it soon?

I see how you guys are. You beg me to post them just so you can make fun of them????!!!!!!!!!!! Yeesh, why do I put up with you guys.

I'm curious since I skipped the weak gloved players this time. Of course, my starting pitchers are a motley crew besides Hamel. I've got some love coming back for a solid bullpen.

I know it's only been 12 games but what a crazy start! 9 out of 12 teams are within 1 game of best record and no team is better than 7-5. Also I somehow lead the league in runs scored despite slumping along with a .223 team BA and .295 OB%. Can't wait until my guys start hitting....hopefully!

I don't mind that so much, but too often it's just <crickets>

I like debating how accurate the ratings are, it helps me make them better.

Im surprised that Joe's leading the league in allowed unearned runs.

Corey's team is baffling with the weak hitting in a hitter's park. On the other hand, his boys play awfully well on the road. If I can change the schedule, we'll play all our games at your house

Joe, they play cricket over here. It's nowhere near as good as baseball.

Seriously though, I'm not sure how we could help you improve the ratings since none of us know the formula you use. If I had to guess I'd say your ratings over value OBP and defense.

I do know we all respect your knowledge, and the effort you have put into the ratings. Sorry for teasing you.

Yeah Joe I second that. I always loved the effort you put in to it, and have nothing against your ratings at all. Your teams usually do pretty well in a tough league so there is definitely something to it. I just really enjoy reading the scouting reports.

I'm confident in the ratings. Don't take my comments as getting my feelings hurt. Not at all. I know it's hard to tell on a forum sometimes. I know you guys are just razzing me. It's all good. I was just sort of poking back. What I was trying to say was that I like the comments on what I post. Even if you think I'm full of it. Too often, for me, they don't generate a lot of comment so it's sort of like "why'd I spend all that time?" Know what I mean?

The learning I get usually comes through indirect comments, not explicit. Big M, if you want more info on how the ratings work, it's on the web site. I think it's a pretty good description of what the ratings do.

Semp, my teams seem to lead the league in that category a lot. Course, it's a SSS right now so hopefully things will change. Too early to draw too many conclusions. How do you figure you "out hit" me in my park. We won 2 of 3. Please "out hit" me like that more often!

Corky, teh typical NLD features close races so it's not too surprising that teams are close so far.
