You're supposed to have three pure relievers on your roster. When we drafted for the previous league, there was an agreed on limitation of three pure relievers because of the number which were available in that set. To the best of my knowledge, no such limitation was established for this particular draft. So you do need to have three pure relievers, which is a basic rule for drafts. If you want to have more, I guess that would be up to you (and I think the commish needs to verify this). Given that the pool of pure relievers in this draft wasn't all that much to write home about, IMO, I don't know why anyone would want more than three.

We did not specify for this league, you are correct. So three is the minimum, four the max, assuming we will have no problem filling the quota of three for all teams (I do not have individul owners' developing rosters tracked for this draft). Can anyone confirm whether there are enough RP available to not invoke the three limit?

All pure relievers come from the 1935-1946 set, as there are none in the Negro League set. There are a total of 50 listings when you do initiate a search; however, some of them, such as Archie McKain and Johnny Murphy, are dual entries, thus I'm not sure how many unique players there are. Given those two that I have identified, that reduces the number of available relievers to 48. Some of them, such as Junior Thompson, who I drafted, have other years that they can start, so it's possible that others could have been drafted as starters and are not available.

I've already selected my three pure relievers; I have no plans on selecting any others.
