I would have loved to have gotten more SB's options but it was a live draft so I was able to get what I have. I thought this team would hit at Kauffman with a bunch of .300 hitters and high OBP but that has not turned out to be the case. Hoping it turns around before the end of the season. SGT D
Yea you have very little natural HR power on that team. I'm guesing you end up getting 8 hits but scoring 2 runs a lot, which is why you are having that issue. You also only have 3 LH in there vs RHP, even I don't do that on my Fenway teams....
because of yout lineup, I would personally do something a bit off your your lineup and try to make it top heavy and hope it scores a few runs. Having a bunch of guys who have singles/walks throughout the lineup doesn't make it score. IT will tkae 3+ singles/walks to score 1 run, where 2 doubles or 1 HR do it much quicker.
vs R
Mauer (best OB, horrible DP's)
Wright (OB + TB)
Gordon (best hitter vs RHP)
Rios (most TB vs RHP)
then it gets tricky, as the rest of your team is basically a 40 ob 43 tb person, nothing to differentiate their lineups spots by a lot.
Konerko (most HR)
Butler (next most)
Scutaro (yea w hitter, but better TB's than even the 2 above him)
Bonifacio
Jeter
Anyways, moving Konerko for a LH hitter that could kill RHP (Rizzo?) would make more sense for you lineup IMHO.
