well, we're 9-6 since dumping Molina. I've been hitting Montero 5th (vs righties 3 morneau 4 heyward 5 montero) but I'm switching to 3 heyward 4 montero 5 morneau, my thinking is morneau will have montero to drive in)
vs lefties it's 3 frandsen 4 canzler 5 montero

Montero has a good clutch rating so 4 or 5 often works to his advantage.

Ben Revere. I should have known better I suppose. I saw a cheap hit man with 1 d that I thought would bat 2nd and h&r and wreak havoc on the bases. he ended up batting 8th or 9th and was still worthless

Revere, Ben L RF 1(+3)e0 149 10 34 1 1 0 14 8 21 13 2 0 AA 1-17 .228 .267 .248 1 1L 3.19M

I'm a relative newbie.

I made the mistake of having Price, Sale and Chapman. It doesn't matter what their cards say, there are all these batters that crush lefties. Chapman either strikes out the side or gets lit up. There's basically nothing on his card except strikeouts. Which doesn't matter when some slugger is a 5L.

Is this something about 2012?

Seeing as i'm terrible at putting together pitching park teams, I probably shouldnt comment. However, shouldnt you have more than two starters with A or AA stealing if you're playing in Kauffman?

My first team ever online---but other than my own screw-ups my biggest bust through 51 games is Konerko--avg .225 , obpct .276 and slugging .357 in 200 plate appearances--hope the odds even out over the rest of the year--sticking with him. My team just can't score any runs with no output from Konerko---last in league in avg & obpct and 10th in ERA but 25-26 just 5 games out--can't stay near .500 with those numbers.

I would have loved to have gotten more SB's options but it was a live draft so I was able to get what I have. I thought this team would hit at Kauffman with a bunch of .300 hitters and high OBP but that has not turned out to be the case. Hoping it turns around before the end of the season. SGT D

Yea you have very little natural HR power on that team. I'm guesing you end up getting 8 hits but scoring 2 runs a lot, which is why you are having that issue. You also only have 3 LH in there vs RHP, even I don't do that on my Fenway teams....

because of yout lineup, I would personally do something a bit off your your lineup and try to make it top heavy and hope it scores a few runs. Having a bunch of guys who have singles/walks throughout the lineup doesn't make it score. IT will tkae 3+ singles/walks to score 1 run, where 2 doubles or 1 HR do it much quicker.

vs R
Mauer (best OB, horrible DP's)
Wright (OB + TB)
Gordon (best hitter vs RHP)
Rios (most TB vs RHP)

then it gets tricky, as the rest of your team is basically a 40 ob 43 tb person, nothing to differentiate their lineups spots by a lot.

Konerko (most HR)
Butler (next most)
Scutaro (yea w hitter, but better TB's than even the 2 above him)
Bonifacio
Jeter

Anyways, moving Konerko for a LH hitter that could kill RHP (Rizzo?) would make more sense for you lineup IMHO.
