As I announced on Thursday, starting today there will be three community members also serving as forum moderators. Their purpose is to be available to help answer questions and assist new users getting acquainted to Baseball Online. They will also be posting notes on public leagues that are close to filling heading into the weekend as well as other leagues during the week. As explained on Thursday they will not be 'policing' the forum, they will generally just be familiar faces to help users with questions they have about the game.
The following users will be moderating:
andycummings65
bontomn

Many of you will know them as they already have been important members of the community for some time. Now they just have an official role to help gamers. Please join me in welcoming them!

Hi everyone!
Just a note to say that we are happy to be helping out as moderators, per John G's memo.
The three of us have talked about dividing up the games/threads, and it looks like I'll be trying to help out as moderator on the 200x game and thread. (andycummings65 and bontomn will be dividing up the other games/threads between them). We might "pinch-hit" for each other here and there, but that is likely how we will divide up our tasks.
I'm looking forward to helping out. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to PM me (or us).
I'm on the second last day of my Canadian personal tax return season, so I'll get into it with some zest this week on Wednesday or Thursday. However, my game plan is to help to "promote" leagues, to help them fill, as early as Tuesday or Wednesday during the week, so that hopefully they can fill by that Friday. I will also be trying to help players (new and old) with questions.
I am actually fairly new to online strat (2007 card set was my first online), but I know that there is a real "treasure chest" of information and advice available on these boards. Palmtana has already started the work of unearthing these gems in a convenient place on this board. Two thumbs up for that - good work Palmtana! I will be trying to help retrieve and post that kind of strategy advice as well, for easy reference.
Like I said, if you have any suggestions, please let me know by PM.
See you at the park!
