Spliting your salary

What is the best ratio to split your salary between pitchers and fielders?
On the team im working on right now, im at 44 million for pitching and 36 million for fielding.

It seems most of the players who beat my behind like a drum have a ratio more like 30 pitching 50 hitting.

Several ways to look at that. 10 pitchers, 15 hitters makes pitching 40% of roster. So salary maybe in similar ratio.
Then consider that a portion of a pitcher's success is based on quality of your fielders. So shift a little more money toward fielders.

Ballpark guess maybe 35/65 % ratio. There have been numerous strategy threads on this topic. That is I think in the ballpark for what most concluded.

A strategy I employ is I never have more than 1 SP that is 10% of my salary, I rarely even have one most times. Simply b/c they only get used once every 4 days at most. I'll have numerous hitters at 10% or more, they play everyday.

Obviously 200mil changes some strategy despite no cards being priced at 20mil.

My best teams always seem to have good pitching. I think if you get hitters that fit your park well you can have success spending on pitching rather than trying to outslug everyone. For me that usually ends up in the 40% spent on pitching range. Obviously there are other ways to skin a cat, though. And I keep trying them to varying success.

A good rule of thumb, I've found, is to do the oposite of whatever FUDU suggests. He's clearly an imbecile.
