Best season I've ever had from him. Missed out on the playoffs, but he put up Bonds like #'s...

Visick,

Could you attach a link to you league's roster chart so we can see the make up of the other ballparks and pitchers in your division? That would help put the results into context. I see you were in Minute Maid, but it seems that almost all of your players had exceptional seasons, even for a $80 million league it seems unusual that there weren't a couple of bad offensive performances in your lineup, unless you were facing a bunch of sub $12million rotations or everyone is playing in the Polo Grounds. :D

Thanks.

Willie Wells under-performed all season. I've had him put up better numbers before.
I went cheap with my pitching. Gibbon/Sherman were my hard lefties out of the pen, and occasional spot starters vs. lefty dominated teams.

I've seen worse staffs win it all, but the Strat gods are not on my side lately...

I glanced and wondered why Matty had a pretty good BA for him -- he had a lot of lefty pitching that you faced that he ate up!

Being at Minute Maid and lots of left opposing pitchers, a perfect recipe for Mr. Williams.

I had a 3 game series a couple weeks ago against Matty in my home park of Forbes '65 and he belted 8 home runs against my all lefty staff. I was happy to see him leave town!

This is what makes Strat such a great game. I can remember how lethal Williams was in '94 when it seemed like he was going to break Maris' record were it not for the strike. His card captures that perfectly.
