Team name is The Wheels of Time - I went a different way with the fantasy theme. (I also worked on four of the first seven Robert Jordan books in that series.)

Also, I've put in two proxies, so we should get around the turn unless Kev picks one of them (like he did in the last round).

Catcher was getting mighty thin, so I grabbed the San Diego steroid cheater. I think Grandal's card is deceptive; he's got almost the same OBA from both sides. It's the power vs. LH pitching that makes him a 4L.

It's amazing how few dominant SPs there are; really like less than ten elite hurlers.

Yeah, it happened again. Never play this game against someone with telekinetic powers.

terry picked...im working on it. yeah, I strongly considered grandal, and unlike brantley, doesn't need a platoon...but that's a hefty salary...then again, there might not be anyone left to spend it on

im actually at work so having a hard time getting to it. tried to make proxies after last pick, but because mark hadn't picked yet, it just kept changing to that player, one of whom was tim hudson. I WILL make a pick at some point, but am on west coast and working until 11, home at midnight...be advised.

I think I got the clock going, set for 3 hours, but the draft has been moving along fine. Let's keep it up!

Seth and the Oscars League Game 7

Just in case others hadn't noticed, I thought I'd point out that Cal and Curt have taken the finals to game 7.

While most of the games have not been very close (four of the six have been decided by five or more runs), the overall balance is: Cal has 35 runs to Curt's 32 runs, for an average score of 5.8-5.3.

Meat weasels (Measles?) me out of Avilan, last of the respectable long-ish relievers. My bullpen is going to be a disaster and my starting staff thus far is nothing special.
