Does Wood count as a hitter(since technically speaking W pitchers are first available in the draft?) or as a pitcher since that is what I will use him as?

Will start travelling in the next hour and may be spotty for the next 3 days or so.

My guess would be you would have to keep him as a hitter, since technically he's not available as a pitcher until the draft.

Hackra made a ruling on this already here is the post.

Commissioner's ruling. This season both cards are eligible, so you may use either. If you plan to use the pitcher card, then he is a pitcher for purposes of keeper (if you want him to count as a hitter, you must use the hitter card at least through game 6).
