Just in the 5 leagues I have taken part of he is hitting anywhere from .270 to .300 and not even in the top ten in homers or ribbies in three of them. Maybe in my next five leagues he will crush it but I have not seen it myself yet!
Sebastian - if you are measuring his worth via RBI, then you are looking at the wrong indicator, as it measures the lineup around him, not his own production, unless you strip out HRs when he is driving himself in.
I have not drafted high enough in my keeper leagues to get him, but I would not hesitate to draft him for a hitter park/div.
Really, with his card, you are just looking for SLG or isolated power. He has 22% XBH vs RHP on his card which is why you are buying. So take a look at his #s vs RHP and see how close he is to those figures. Given pitcher card rolls, I'd expect a good season from him to show 12-15% XBH vs RHPs.
Also, assuming you are not platooning him, I would be careful not to bat him cleanup or 5th vs. LHP, his card vs. that side features fewer XBH and poor clutch, which could affect his BA a bit over a year. I would have him bat 2nd vs reverse LHPs and 7th or 8th vs regular LHPs.
Hope that helps.
