80's Keeper Draft. Name your Protected Players!! Please

Awesome! Way to go gang! Just 2 to go and we'll be drafting. Gonna be a long week of team changes ahead of us all... lol

Just remember, you cannot drop your 7 franchise players, they can only be traded.

Our 3 protected players, will hafta be anounced before game 142. You can anounce them as soon as you like, or as late as game 142.

We ll anounce at game 142 our protected players, cause that gives us 2 weeks to look over our team in preperation for season 2.

Anyone else here awaiting the draft?

I have my 7 keepers plus three extra keepers selected. My question, the three extra, if I am able to draft them, will they need to stay on my team all season also except for trade like the original 7?

1. The three extra are "Protected Players", not "Keepers"
2. They are not on your team unless you draft them.
3. Anyone can draft them. IF someone drafts them before you do, you get extra picks in rounds 4, 5 and 6, depending on how many are drafted away from you.
4. They do not have to stay on anyone's team.

At least that is how I understand it.
