Back into a tie with GB after garnering a 3-game lead a few days ago. My team is enigmatic to say the least.

Swept the Captalists and still one game behind JTJ.

Nice: My closer not only has the most saves on my team, but also the most wins. That's how 'realistic' SOM is.

Oh, I'm sure it's a factor. One that the ratings take into account.

Big Sweep for GB last night, but things can flip back just as quickly in the "Wild, Wild West"

Swept the Captalists and still one game behind JTJ.

yeah, I noticed that. It's a bummer when you when two and lose a game! Say, I can't remember, does anyone know, (assuming Big A or I win the WC) if we would play each other in the first round?

update to the "luck factors"

Code: Select all

Looks like Hawk and Big A are at the top of the list and DJ, Keyz and Stoney not so much.

Another set tonight for us Big A. Still a one game lead. This could be big as if we can take 2 of 3 at home, that would put us up by 2, plus make us 12-9 head-to-head.

Got our fingers crossed.

In the West, GB picked a great time to win 8 in a row, :o and Jeep a tough time to slump. Wow, what a sudden turn. With only three games to be played between the two Jeep is going to need some help. He's rooting hard for Stoney to finish strong. ;)

The Central has also opened up a bit, but it's not over (as the West has showed). Big series between the two up next. Corky still has a chance too if he can get hot.

Yeah, I could use a reverting to the mean of my luck! A sweep of Hawk tonight would really make things interesting in the Central!

6 losses in a row. 6 losses of all kinds, tough to take 1-run losses, extra inning losses, and a couple of blow-outs mixed in. I've been beset with injuries down the stretch as you can see:
Your Current Injuries
Encarnacion, Edwin, through Game 152
Freese, David, through Game 157

Recently Off the Injured List
Heyward, Jason, healthy for Game 146
Tulowitzki, Troy, healthy for Game 149
Castillo, Welington, healthy for Game 151

Very frustrating season.

Sorry Jeep. Just playing the role of spoiler.

Had a nice little run when I made changes early May and got within 2-3 games of division lead and then injury bug hit hard at the same time GB and Jeep were playing very well.]

Joe, thanks for the Luck Chart. Makes me feek less of a loser :D and that I have a really good team but just bad luck.

Out of curiousity, have any of you had good results with pitching oriented teams? I've tried a couple of pitching/D teams and while I can lead the league in runs against (like this team) it hasn't translated into a winning record.

Oooops, pounding the Extremists 23-4 in game 150! 9 runs in the first inning alone .. :D I would really call that extreme ...

By the way, has anybody seen/heard of AT lately??

Same here Mike. My current NLD team is a good example!
