First 140m Team - I think I am in Over My Head

Consider this off the wall approach...you need to try something desperate to catch up to the other offenses...

Dump Stanky, and offer Reggie and/or Giambi to upgrade an SP or RP, C, 3b

2b - get Bullet Rogan
lf - get Willard Brown
cf - platoon Torriente / Eric Davis
rf - Move Griffy over to right
2b - get 1961 Bobby Richardson as a defensive sub

you don't need any bench outfielders. Eric Davis can be an emergency lf/cf if either Brown or Torriente go down....Rogan can back up Griffey in RF and Richardson slide over to 2b in a situational pinch. This gives you great OPS potential and your team will be very balanced when you face teams on the road. Rogan and Brown and Eric Davis should do GREAT against lefties and Griffey and Torriente against Righties...here's the thing, Rogan should still have an OPS close to 850 vs. Rhp and 1050ish vs. lhp and with all of the lefties end up with an OPS around 930 which is fantastic for a 2b in a 140 league....Torriente/Davis platoon is expensive but it will be productive and Davis will provide good depth should Brown ever go down in Lf

You are thinking outside the box. Brown is taken. You say Kelley's defense is poor and then say play Rogan at 2b. I am trying to understand this.

I could play rogan in lf if there are other options. As for the CF platoon do you say the cheap or expensive Davis. Or dale Murphy is there also. I am not sure there is enough lhp to justice the money.
