Guys,

Congrats to Ray and John for making the finals, and Jay and Roger for making the playoffs! My team fell apart down the stretch, which was disappointing, but there's always next year! (or season 2). How about we have drops for the supplemental draft due on Friday, June 14th at midnight ET? I'll take that weekend to update the roster sheets, and then we'll start the draft on Monday, June 17th. This will also give us time to deal with any potential rule changes.

According to current rules, ALL rounds will have the one hour clock, which has caused problems in the past, so I would like to propose a change of the rules to keep them all consistent:

Proposition 1: The clock for all drafts should have the same rules. Should this pass, it means that I will keep trying to find some common ground and the same rules for all drafts, even if any of the others fail to meet the 8 person majority required.

Proposition 2: All drafts should have no clock on the first round.

Proposition 3: All drafts should have a 24 hour clock on the first round, once everyone checks in and confirms the start date.

Proposition 4: All drafts should have a 1 hour clock on all rounds, once everyone checks in and confirms the start date.

Voting NO for all of these keeps the current system. I do agree with Jay that it sucks to have different rules for different drafts, and hopefully, we can fix this. I also have a couple of minor, unrelated rule changes I'd like to propose:

Proposition 5: The prospect draft order should be based on the previous TWO seasons combined, instead of the current one season.

Proposition 6: Instead of using head to head record as the tiebreaker for draft order, since we have had disagreements of how to interpret this, and it has caused confusion, we will use a system like MLB does, and just use the season prior (currently 3 seasons for spring FA drafts and 2 seasons for prospect/supplemental drafts) to determine tiebreakers.

Please add your votes to the bottom, and let me know if the dates I've mentioned are not good for you.
