Maybe we can vote again after the draft for future seasons. I hate that this "prospect" draft is really just looking to see who's going to have good 2013 cards. Maybe after this year we can move to a "never played in the majors" rule for prospects, but for now...we voted on this, and this is what we get.

yes, im not saying anything can be done about this one, but to make modifications for future considerations. as is, it's a pre-card draft, and compromises next seasons free agent draft.

oh, and now that manleeman has used finishing beneath my pathetic teams, and shrewdly trading for FA and prospect picks, can we move him out of the west?!

Every keeper league I am in has prospect drafts. Just because a guy has two good months in does not mean he will have a great year and card in the next set. Personally I enjoy scouting the minors for prospects. I've had some hits and busts, but for me it adds to the strategy of the game.

There are a number of good players who will have cards that are not likely to be drafted in the prospect draft.

Several years ago someone may have taken Brandon Wood with the number one prospect pick. That says it all about what can happen with prospects.
