Nah, its just they put the time in to do card counts... ie, figure out the chance rolls and % and such of the cards they think will do well.
Short, unexplained example:
Willie Mays will do well in pretty much any park, but, in a lefty park, with a lot of righty SPers, Boog Powell, will have more HRs, and RBI's than Mays, for almost half the price.
Or, in the current version 2012...
Soriano, in a hitter park, ie, a park with easy to hit HRs, will be among the league leaders in HRs also... for 2.7 mill
Yes, his D sucks, and he basically is just a DH and emergency LFer, but this game is not about what happens in real life.
