Manager Ratings ??

PostTue Jun 18, 2013 10:51 am

Has anyone heard of any movement on this, since the last update back in January?

You would think they would have come up with something by now.

As much as I have approved of and appreciated everything that SOM has done so far in the transition... a lot of us consider having manager ratings available to be an important part of the game experience, and it would be nice to find out when (if?) they are coming. Thanks.

I'd like to see them add the ratings now based on the seasons they have compiled and simply add to the ratings as they complete transferring each new season.

I'm curious as to why it takes SOM so long to push any updates out. I've been in IT for over 20 years so I understand how lengthy some projects can become. But some of these minor enhancements should not take months to complete. My assumption is they must have a really small resource pool invested in online. One or two programmers handling a long list of projects. It's too bad because I thought the switch from TSN was going to be a huge improvement.

As with any game, there is a reason why we keep score,... the Manager Ratings is an intrigal part of the game, why we can't get an update for months as to the status of the issue, is no way to run a business,....

If they do come back and if they can be transferred I'll be happy to send all of my points to managers that want some of these meaningless points. I haven't missed them in the least. I play for the enjoyment of the game not to rack up points that don't mean anything.

When I first started, I found the manager ratings very helpful to identify which owners were experienced and had high winning percentages. Then, I could learn from who they drafted, what moves they made, etc. to hopefully improve my future teams.

faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more important crap to worry about

i mean really......how much did that number really tell you. I love those managers that keep bitching about this pointless statistic. With the 14.95 for first two team special I can guarantee there are multiple vets that have "other accounts" to hide their identity.

So go ahead, think your playing against a rookie and get smashed. How about bringing out the 60s set earlier, or getting the records books online, easy to find, and figured for the varied salary caps and leagues/sets?????
