Ultimate Mid Season Keeper League...NOW DRAFTING IN ILC

This will be a $100 million DH keeper league, using the 2013u cards when they come out, that keeps evolving as the MLB season goes on.
What I'm thinking, and I'm open for suggestions, is this...

1. We have a 4 round live draft. Randomized
2. Approx. 1 month from now we have another 4 round draft. Randomized again.
3. Approx. 2 mos. from now we'll have another 4 round draft, again randomized.

This will give us 12 keepers.

4. At the end of the season we'll draft 4 more players in another randomized draft.

The total will be 16 live drafted players.

From there, you will only be allowed to keep 12 players, so you will have to drop 4 players.

Any other ideas?

I think it's a good idea, but with different draft orders each time. Maybe pull the draft order from the position draft (where each round someone else is in first place), or just a random order each time.

It will be the 2013 set.

Being a 4 round draft, we all can't have the 1st pick in the draft. Herein lies the tricky part.

So I'm thinking we just randomize each draft...

I like it Viz. The simplicity I like and the staggered 4-round drafts I like. I think (as others said) you have to go with a randomization for each round to make things the fairest.

What we got. A 4 round randomized draft. We are drafting MLB players using them when the 2013u cards come out next season.

In approx. 1 month, we will have another 4 round randomized draft. (First 2 weeks of August)
Then another 4 round randomized draft in early September.

Finally we'll have another 4 round randomized draft AFTER the MLB season is over.

This will give us 16 players.

BEFORE the new 2013u cards come out, you will need to drop 4 drafted players to get down to 12 keepers which then must be drafted for the 2013 season.

Guys, we can bang out a 4 round draft in a day or 2/3. Please know in early August & September, we'll run the other drafts. As well as when the season ends. Please let us know if there are scheduling problems or leave proxies for your picks.

Trading is allowed and encouraged. Whether it be player for player OR player + pick for player + pick. We ALL need to have 4 players as keepers when each draft is over.
