not what I planned

PostTue Jul 02, 2013 9:23 pm

Anyone care to give some thoughts on my team. Not a championship team, just your standard 80 mil. Drafted this Kauffman team and of course ended up in a division with two Progressives and a Fenway. I still have to add a 5th starter. Anyone with a spare minute please give their insight. I may be doomed but don't wanna be a 100 loss team.
Thanks Guys

I don't really like it either, though nothing in particular strikes me as the reason why.

I think picking up Matusz instead of Saunder (can be used in relief) and dumping O'F and Zilger for cheaper specialists would give you 2 sets of RH/LH specialaists. Then pick up a solid inning eating RP (avilan is my fav, but most likely gone. someone like that). Use Lecure for your mopup innings.

Your hitting is really weak however, C/2B/1B/CF... I don't like any of those positions.

can you post the top Fa's out there (first page)?

Is Capuano available? I used him in a division with 2 progressive teams and he was great

that won't work, you'll have to copy paste the list.... I can't see your FA, unless I login as you.

Man looking at your division.... lol... that's going ot be tough to say the least!

All 3 of those teams I think are better constructed for an 80 mil team than yours. Not trying to be mean here..;

1 progrssive team with Price, Geinke, Lee, Richards at SP, and has a better RP staff than you. Plus they have Moss, Fielder, Cano, Jeter, BRantly/Rosario platoon.

Another Progressive with Medlan, Beachy, harvey, Morrow, Weaver SP's (no bullpen), tryign to go 9 innings each time out. A lot of OBP on that team, not a lot of slugging. Will be interesting at least.

then the Fenway team with Verlander, Kershaw and Dickey (plus trash), but with Miggy, Butler, Holida, Pagan, G Jones...

I like each of them much better than yours, sorry to say.
