Ok Ill jump in. I'm 37. On July 2nd my second child was born. I purposely started a team to help the labor get along a little bit. I figured that he would be born during the frenzy. Anyways he didn't come for a few days later.

I was introduced to strat by a buddy of mine. I remember playing the game when I was a kid, but I didn't own one of my own. Anyways no I can't keep away from it.

I was 28, which would make me the youngest on the list above, but that was 30 years ago. First major league game I ever saw, Mickey Mantle hit a homer but the Yankees lost to the Senators 2-1 in what was then DC Stadium. My first strato cards were from the 1967 season...

I'm 54. I started playing around 68-69 with my best buds brothers strat cards mostly from the 1965 season. Alot of cards were missing and we would mix teams together and have drafts. We did have the old timer set which was pretty small then and then started making are own cards. I think we got pretty good at it. We would play for hours and get mad. We still played when I returned home from being in the service and pretty much drove our wives crazy playing, talking about statistics till 4 in the morning. My wife will never get it and my buddies 3 wives... well I am sure the first 2 thought it was a problem and not a hobby.

I did not get online until about 5 years ago. I still actually get mad like some supreme being is guiding results and then eventually have to laugh at the absurdity of thinking that way.

My first baseball games were in 1973 at Cleveland Municipal for a double header with my Yankees. Ron Blomberg hit a homer in the first game and just missed winning it with a pitch hit in the second game. Can't remember who pitched but it was a circus. We had pretty good seats, my parents and my brother and his new bride, sat right behind a group of 12 Cleveland fans who must of smoked at least an ounce of pot during the game. My mother kept saying "what is that smell?"

Age - Just north of 1/2 century. My first baseball memories are from the Bravo el Birdo's years with the '67 and '68 Cards. Played a bit of strat-o-matic back then with my uncles, but actually enjoyed "All-star baseball" with the circular player cards and the spinner most and spent many happy hours playing. Found Strat-O-matic online in 2007 playing fantasim then launched into ATG during version 4 after a try at some free 1986 teams.

some early baseball memories include getting a still prized Stan the Man autograph (at his eatery downtown - not at the ballpark), getting a ball signed by the entire 1973 Cardinals as a present from my dad (he had done some work for the team and a clubhouse attendant helped him to get it signed by all the Redbirds of the time - it was a pretty poor team, but had some well loved Cardinals), Staying up all night in line and getting playoff tickets ($7 each!!!) in '82, watching a heartbreaking series in KC with my new bride, taking my young son to see Ozzie do a goodbye backflip before he retired.

I am 59. Started playing about 30 years ago. Big Yankee fan. I remember when I was really young thinking the world Series every year was the national league champ playing the Yankees.

Pretty sure my first ballgame was in '58 because I have a fuzzy memory of Campy Campanella being introduced in a wheel chair after his accident,

I DO have my scorecard from game 1 of the '59 Series.

first SOM set was the '66 1-sided stats season, ad cut out of a DC comic. was thrilled when that F Robby was added to the set here.

be '62 nxt birthday.

NO ONE can blame us for smoking pot at Indians' games in the 70's. It was a matter of survival, and it made the hot dogs with the Stadium spicy mustard taste sooooo good!

55. First baseball memory was watching Johnny Bench play on the triple A Buffalo Bisons. Then the next year being one of the few in school to pick the Tigers over St. Louis in the World Series and as school goes, getting laughed at when Detroit was down 3 games to 1. Life long Tiger fan after that and Lolich always being the main man. Used to try and tune in the games on WJR 760, from Buffalo, and listen to Ernie Harwell and Paul Carey. First game bought was the Sports Illustrated baseball game, the 1971 season. I still have that game somewhere.
