J'habille en Winnipeg. J'ai etudie le français dans l'école. Je parle en français de temps en temps, mais j'ai besoin de pratiquer! C'est parfait! (Je l'écrit sans google - lol!).

Great work gbrookes on the french sentences ! BTW, don't feel obligated to do so, but if you want to practice, we appreciate ! )

A little hint to help you (because I'm a teacher and I know that I must make some syntax mistakes in english too...) :

When you said ''j'habille en Winnipeg'' , you wanted to say I live in Winn...

In french, we say: J' habite (because habille means dressing up with clothes) à Winnipeg.

We use ''dans'' or "en'' mostly to say in an object, inside of something. When we want to say in a place like a city, we use ''à'' or ''au''. Ex: À Montréal / Au Québec (the province) / À Québec (the city).

Who said that the french wasn't complicated ? Not me for sure !

Wow, I just discovered that I'm the defending champ of this very fine league. This is my wife's favorite league as she is a native of Canada and learned French reading the back of cereal boxes growing up in Regina before moving south of Calgary. She moved to America when she was 12 and her French has diminished, but is still amused by this particular league. She is a hockey player and wonders why we aren't all in a Fantasy Hockey league.

At any rate, I'm just checking in and will post my 5 keepers. For a team who won it all last year, I sure have little talent to choose from to be carried over.
