Very excited too. I've been busy double checking stats to try to figure out likely seasons and pricing. I'm guessing Mays will be the most expensive hitter and Koufax for pitchers, but depending on seasons picked you could have very strong cards for several others (Gibson, Aaron, Yaz, Killebrew, FRobby, Clemente, Mantle, Marichal, etc.). Not too deep at C, 2B, SS or RP, but a lot of great starting pitchers and a lot of power hitters in their primes.

If they reach back to 58 or 59, Ernie Banks was still playing short and was league MVP both years. Maris is going to have some great cards. Brooks Robinson hit really well in the 60s. Bench was rookie of the year in 68, so he shouldn't be in the set - the top salary catcher (by far) will probably be Elston Howard.

How many of these guys will be over $5M salary? I guess it depends on your definition of good. Not too many HOFs in their primes here.

Yeah, 2B, SS and CA are not too deep. The 60's were about great starting pitchers and spectacular players in the outfield. Some pretty good 1st and 3rd basemen as well. So many great outfielders, though . . .

The obvious: Mays, Mantle, Clemente, F. Robinson, Yastrzemski, Aaron . . . They'll all probably be 10 million plus.

Next group: Stargell, Pinson, B. Williams, F. Howard, Reggie Jackson (67-69, so maybe he's included), Matty and Felipe Alou, Tommy Davis, Colavito, Flood, Oliva, Carty, Maris, Conigliaro, Kaline, Horton, and the list goes on.
