Season Standings

PostFri Aug 02, 2013 5:15 pm

There used to be an area where you could see who had the best winning percentage in say 2012 set, how many championships they've won, how many playoffs teams etc. I can't seem to find that anymore, can anyone guide me to this area? thanks

I think they did away with the managerial rankings that The Sporting News had come up with. The rankings were heavily weighted to quantity of teams played as opposed to winning percentage, playoff appearances, and championship teams. Maybe they will bring a ranking system back.

I don't agree with that at all. The rankings had a great filter and it was a fun way to compare yourself with others. Either way, you could filter who had the most championships, playoff appearances etc with the click of a button. What is the point of paying 79.99 or whatever insane cost for 5 teams when you can get 2 for 14.99 with a new account?

Before, at least you had the incentive to get your manager ranking up, show off your championships, playoff appearances, etc. Now that incentive is taken away so what is the point of keeping say "geekor" when you can just open new accounts each time (geekor1, geekor2, geekor3, etc) and save a TON of money. Why pay 80$ for 5 teams when you can get more than DOUBLE the teams for the same cost!?? Almost 11 teams for the same cost of 5!! If your stats and username mean absolutely NOTHING. (I mean you can't even have an avatar/pic anymore for crying out loud) No records. No Hall of Fame. No Championship Trophies. Nothing. So why pay DOUBLE to stay with one username??

WE WANT STATS!!! Period.

They have been promising bringing back the manager ratings for a year now. Frankly, I would have rather had the manager ratings back than the 60s game, but that's just my opinion. Hopefully they will be back soon.

^^^ in one of Garcia's blogs he says that they are working on restoring all of the old games and databases from the tsn site. Then they are going to recreate the managers ratings based on the data from all old games for all managers - as though there had not been a change at all. That's the plan. Lots of gamers anxious for that to happen. That's the plan.

Yes, I want the ratings back as well. Not because of vanity of having a higher score. It's because we could see the history of all the guys in your leagues. It was always a fun thing to do. Also, it helps the new guys know who to get advice from, etc. etc.

It's been about a year and no luck so far!
