Anyone going to next week's http://www.saberseminar.com in Boston? Let me know, as I will be a speaker at the conference.

Well, Glenn, you have now ensured that no one will join a Strat League with you in it! ;)

Might be interesting to go to. In future years if you think of it announce it as soon as possible and periodically after that.
Just might plan a vacation around that.

I attended the SABR Analytics conference last March in Phoenix -- is this similar? Were you there?

Glenn, buy a drink or five for Keith Woolner. It's been a lousy week for the Indians.

Interestingly, it is not an event officially sanctioned by SABR, but it has grown in popularity. This will be the third year, and all 250 spots are sold out, including some folks who work in baseball and others trying to break in. It is my first year involved with it. Although it is not officially sanctioned by SABR, the prez of SABR is one of the speakers, so apparently all are on good terms.
