I like the 9.66 Griffey also. After looking at your team, you need outfield help. Maybe Larkin for a decent outfielder or something. Or Boudreau for an outfielder but it seems Larkin will get you more in a trade.

Which Ken Griffey JR card is best?

Badjam,

You need to look again. I picked up albert belle and eric davis, but my outfield kicked ass before that. Man-ram's card kicks ass and billy hamilkton's AAA card kicks ass. As does his -403 batting average. I'm not ripping on you, but I don't know how it could get any better.

I traded boudreau for eric davis. Which brings me to my second question.

Do you like the 1(-3) card better than his 1(0) rf, lf, cf, AAA a card the best.

I appreciate the help.

Yes please Badjam take a closer look how can his outfield get any better...He picked up A. Belle and E. Davis and his outfield kicked ass even before that...Man-Ram and Hamilton wowser! And I'm sure he appreciates your help but obviously he knows just a bit better than you.

I don't know about that outfield kicking ass. To me a kick ass outfield would be something like Simmons, Dimaggio, Aaron. I've played in over 100 200mil leagues and still get surprised but Dixon and Alou are usually left on waivers. Dihigo makes a roster about 1% of the time and Rico is left on waivers around 50% of the time. Man Ram and Davis' strengths are against leftys but you will probably face 80% rightys. I'd use Eric's 8.38 card but only play him against leftys. 200mil leagues are both fun and frustrating but keep in mind that every inning you are facing the best of the best and your players stats will be lower than the card shows. Not seeing the rest of the league, it seems, you might not have enough sluggers to hang with the opposing teams in your own park. Plus many of your pitchers have ballpark homer chances on their cards.

I wouldn't have traded Boudreau for Davis. I would have tried to trade Larkin for an everyday player.

Good luck and hopefully your season will give you the experience to improve the next time.

My outfield has/had 3-guys with a .700 SLG, before the trade.

I could use a solid closer. What type of everyday player would you try and get for eric davis. I did not think I have too many weaknesses. Again, I default to you. I am a newbie to ATGII.?

Which ED cards do you guys like, as is, on THIS team. He will probably platoon with griffey in center.

Man-ram's right handed card kicks ass. His left handed card is off the chart.

avg/obp/slg/ops/RC27

0.603 0.725 1.350 2.075 66.62 lefties
0.466 0.575 1.140 1.715 33.15 Ramirez

I think mondreyes is 100% correct, that outfield kicks ass, as is.

And while you continue to try and help, and he'll continue to tell you he'll defer to you, while also telling you why he is right and you should look again. :?

200mil is very unpredictable but I would say that lineup is nothing special. Here is a recent lineup of mine. This team is second in the league in hitting but struggling around .500 in a tough division.

Sam Thompson
Beckwith
Simmons
Mantle
Hack Wilson
Bagwell
Sandberg
Boudreau
Campanella

Man Ram will miss a lot of games with injuries for you. Prove me wrong, keep us posted, good luck.

Not a big Hamilton fan at this level unless you are playing small ball, like Forbes stadium or similar. So I thought I would gather ten 200mil completed league results for him. I had to go back 14 teams because he couldn't make the lineup in four of them, getting 17at bats, 31, 2 and 12 at bats all season in those leagues.
At bats...Avg.....Obp....SB....CS
226.......283.....415.....8.....6
214.......341.....448....12....9
206.......267.....368....10....5
598.......278.....404....39....20
457.......282.....395.....9.....4
538.......277.....409.....27...22
631.......285.....408.....29...17
621.......296.....418.....36...14
616.......289.....412.....34...13
530.......296.....413.....49...20

Decent on base% but hit over .300 only once. Also gets caught stealing too much. I few of the lower at bat totals were because he wasn't good enough to make the everyday lineup. Only three of these teams had a winning record. To me, he is not the run producing type that you need up and down your lineup in 200mil leagues in Fenway.
