Jam, I don't disagree with what you are saying about aaron, but you just spent 12,000,000 on him and I got the man-ram for 8,000,000.

You are ignoring how much it hurts your pitching to have a three in right field. Causing pitchers to fatigue sooner because instead of pitching out of jams, more big innings. Or a guy to play the thirty games a year Manny will miss. Or a guy to run the bases in key spots. Or a guy as a late inning defensive replacement. So up to four guys to fill Aarons shoes. This teamwork approach to right field is costing you roster spots and cap room. As much as I try to help pass some of my experience on to you, it looks like you will need to learn the hard way, anyway.

We are not comparing DH's. We are comparing right fielders, I thought. Also, I forgot to mention you have Manny's righty and lefty numbers switched.
I have built around 400 teams with more than half of those at 200mil or live draft (no cap) so it just seems strange that a guy with three games experience at the 200mil level is trying to say all of the things I brought up mean nothing and the salaries given to players are way off. As your team sits right now, you will struggle and end up below .500. Keep an eye on the better teams, you can see what is working for them that will help you with future teams.
Or, if your goal is to save money, yes, Manny will save you money. At 200mil trying to save money on your starting lineup is not a winning strategy. There are times when up against the cap that you need to try to save money on your bench guys.

I've completed about 80+ ATG leagues now and have another 32 in the process...I didn't even try a $200M league until I had around 60 leagues (20 or so of them $140M) under my belt....I got lucky and made the post season in 3 of 4 of my first $200M leagues...some might say beginners luck, some, but the fact that I had already played so many $140 cap teams really helped the jump to $200M....let's just say there are HUGE differences between ALL of the caps, but I can't imagine there being a tougher CAP than $200M...mostly because that's where MOST (not all) of the Quality Vet owners play...you can expect 8 or more of the owners in a $200M league to have won atleast 10 CHAMPIONSHIPS at different cap levels and that they KNOW the nuances of the players and values of where players should be drafted...that's what MAKES $200M so brutal...it's ALL ABOUT THE DRAFT and without understanding TRUE value of players it's hard to gauge what is a good draft card....I hope you'll just be humble enough to study and learn and keep at it...it's more than being a guy that has played 500 to 2,000 games of table top Strat over the years, it's more about knowing the cards and how to build a draft card....the lower the CAP the more strategy and team roster understanding you need, the higher CAPS it's about knowing how to build a draft card and where to put the key guys and then getting lucky enough to get them...a lot of LUCK to the $200 CaP draft...I would suggest if you understand the table top game as much as you say you do, go play 15 or 20 leagues of $80-$140 to get to know the cards and tendencies of other owners and then come back to $200M....my 2 cents.
