Change manager name

There has been an announcement that they made it so we can change the managers name on your teams. Now that they got that often requested feature out of the way, they can get started on the less popular things like live drafts and manager ratings. The last live draft league started on 4-16-2012.

Do we really need manager ratings? What purpose do they serve? The old method was flawed anyway.

I think we need to make the live draft the next priority. I would hate to find out that the return of the live draft is being delayed to restore manager ratings first.

Manager ratings served 2 purposes. Feed the ego of big spenders who had lots of teams and encourage them to try spending their way to the top. Second they provided a mechanism for those wishing to avoid tough competition. Definitely of little benefit to most of us.

I agree. My self esteem is fine without the benefit of a stratomatic manager rating.

I doesn't matter if the manager rating is good, bad or effective, it's something people got used too. Also, it was something that was promised to be brought back. Hope they improve it while they are working on it. Hopefully they work on the live draft app first.

The manager ratings were inane, but I liked when you could click on the names of managers in your league and call up their cumulative records. That was useful info and should be reimplemented.

Great point. The ratings were very misleading and if it were to be brought back it would need a major reworking.
