If you draft Ruth the pitcher then he is your FRANCHISE pitcher, end of story, can't switch him to hitter later...you then may draft a Yankee hitter with your 2nd round pick...you could NOT have Ruth pitcher and Mariano as your 2 FRANCHISE players.

To answer N texas question, See if this is right, We can pick a hitter or pitcher from an era. Then the next pick has to be opposite position, but can be from a different era. Example using those damn yankees. Ruth (1921) then Rivera (1996). Is that correct. Also what about NYG-SFG? I think we are over thinking things. Sounds interesting to play like this.

kunkel you are correct on your assment of the any yankee player from any era with first pick and then opposite position in 2nd round but can be from same era or different era.

As for the Giants, I said before I'm EASY on the NYG/SFG, can we agree to vote on that matter when we get the 12 owners set...I'm willing to go either way with the consensus of the other owners...sound fair?

I think we draft our 2 keepers and a stadium over at the ILC once all the rules are agreed upon. Then you submit a team with your 2 keepers and 23 guys who are not keepers from the player pool for ATG VII.

Ok lets try this one. If you take Aaron from Boston Milwaukee Braves from the post WWII set can you take Maddux from the Atlanta Braves EXP set? Which stadiums would be eligible? Boston, Milwaukee and or Atlanta.

This is a question for the majority to agree on...in spirit I believe in same city, but if just 7 owners want to say a Brave is a Brave is a Brave then I say, let's do it and that a Giant is a Giant is a Giant and therefore for the Braves, ANY Braves stadium would then suffice or for the Giants ANY Giants stadium would work...however, if 7 owners say, let's limit it to Boston Braves, or Milwaukee Braves or Atlanta Braves then let's go that way...I'm EASY, I'll go with the majority on this point
