DOUBLE FRANCHISE - Draft Concluded - Time to Start

What's the problem with the pre-1900 guys? Some reasonable prospects there like Duffy, Hamilton, Delahanty, Keefe, Bradley who Strat lists with one of the original 16 franchises.

GREAT QUESTION.....all pre1900 players will be eligible to be drafted by all during the seasons, just not franchisable as one of the 2 franchise guys

So when are we drafting and how are we doing it. Is it live where everyone is online at same time or do we submit our choices to the commish and he post are players?

I told cassidy that he could draft once one of the options get 7 votes....so I guess we'll wait until either the franchise or city option get 7 votes...This is the first time I've done this so if there are others with a better idea better speak up....with my limited experience I think it's best for each owner to copy and paste the 24 pick list I've posted....when you make your pick (1) name player, year, salary (2) stadium and then post

Maybe it's stated in the rules, but for my own and maybe someone else's clarification I'll just throw out an example.

Say you pick Hornsby (St. Louis rather than Chicago) on your first pick. Then when you come to your pitcher pick, you see Alexander's still available. Now is the better PHI Alexander available or just the lesser St. L Alexander. I'm thinking the answer is St. L Alexander, right? You have to stay within franchise or city (whichever the case may be) for your two picks, right - even though that player may have a better card for a different franchise (or city)?

This could be iffy because there's lots of good players that cross over franchises, as well as some who may have played for the same franchise, but different cities - Marichal, Aaron, Mays (?) Isn't Marichal the one who has a card that isn't listed on either post NYG or exp SF?

That's how I understand it also; you need to stay within the franchise or city, so in the example you cite the only Alexander available to the Hornsby-drafting team would be his Cardinals card.
