Which eric davis card do you like to use the best?

The one with Cesar Geronimo's name on it. Or Kenny Lofton's. Or Joe DiMaggio's. Or Speaker. Or MAntle. Or really anybody else's but Eric Davis'. Neither of his cards have ever produced much in my eyes.................

A couple of recently completed $200m teams with Davis as a platoon against LH SPs. Some pop, inconsistent BA and OBP. He will pretty much always get picked up in a $200m league, but only used in platoons. I really wouldn't use him in any other situation.

Besides the fact that he was one of my favorite players growing up, I'm going to have to disagree with the others in this thread due to a recently completed league where he performed quite well. In 576 ABS, .262/.351/.524 . . . 42 HR, 69 SB and 12 CS. This was an $80 mil league in Great American Ballpark, using his '86 card. This card has crazy speed, he really could have been a AAA in my opinion. Check his supplementary steal numbers against AAA stealers if you don't believe me.

Other times, his OB was not good enough, and that's probably what makes him a platoon in higher cap leagues. But I'd try him again in an $80 mil in a hitter's park.

I used to prefer the '87 card for the power . . . but '86 still has plenty of BP HR and his speed is really good. The only thing that's much worse about it is the errors. Good luck, I hope he does well for you.

this one's is child's play. a no-brainer.. I eric davis card of choice is the one on your team.
