POLL: 3 way tie rules

I didn't vote--and I would feel the same way you do, because in division records makes no since in a wildcard comparison I agree--out of division records would be more appropriate for a wildcard if you're not doing head to head. Bottom line is the programmers didn't want to write a different tiebreaker for wildcards than the division winners. It's more difficult to do than you may think.

While not a computer geek... I do have friends that are. Nothing is impossible. It can be done. Just gotta have someone that is semi knowledgeable. Really, how hard can it be?

We can't even get a LIVE DRAFT going here. Which makes me wonder if ALL of the fantasy football/ fantasy baseball sites have ABSOLUTE geniuses developing their drafts ?

Shit and here I thought it used Run differential for 3 way ties, didn't realize that was 2nd.

Using division records is just stupid, whether you default to H2H or run differential, it doesn't matter, but division record?

Let's use this example:

So say Team A gets lucky in a division with a newbie who drop like crazy and loses 100+ games. According to these tie breakers, that makes his team better than Team B who has to fight against 3 other teams that aren't crap? And now that they are tied for the WC, Team B doesn't make it due to having a HARDER division? That should be rewarded, not a penalty.

Visick is at least half right, the current tie breaker needs to change.

I've been told, via email, there is nothing they can do now.

They said they would look into the tiebreakers in the future.*

You can have better division records (winning pct) than them against their divisions and lose out because your division was tough

So, in your opinion, should Head to Head, be a factor like it is in a 2 way tie?

Because schedules are unbalanced. I think record outside your division would be better.

But that's my opinion

What does unbalanced schedules have to do with good old fashioned HEAD TO HEAD?

That should be the #1 thing.

If I beat you 8 out of 12 times and then beat another manager 7 out of 12 times, I have a better H2H record.
