Really Nev, you asking for advice? No offense meant - I love you, man.

That is the real mark of greatness, when those already near or at the top are still analyzing how they might get better.

after reading this post I decided to go all in. I've got 2 teams at the post with 4's at both corner OF spots.

I really like the 5.38 Reggie in a lefty park in a 80M or 100M league. What he gives up on defense you'll get back on offense.

About the only one I've used a 4 in the OF is Albert Belle. He produces more runs than he gives up. Oh, have CF Geronimo and RF Ichiro back him up.... Belle can then play the LF foul line all day.

Delivery Boy...

A little late to the discussion, been kind of busy.

In a 80 mill league I played Stargell's 4.84 million dollar card in LF everyday and won 105 games. Funny part being I was in a LH hitting HR park and I played 3 RH'ed homerun hitters.

Never too late. Especially since when others mentioned Stargell, I thought to myself "he's a 3 in LF". It didn't occur to me until your post it was his cheaper card being mentioned. :)

Badjam is right - the chances for an RFx and an LFx are the same and the same whether either the batter or the pitcher is L or R.

what should matter more is having a better arm in right.

i thought that in the game (i mean cards and computer game) there was an adjustment depending on where the throw was from and what base it was going to, meaning, with the same 'arm strength' in both rf and lf a runner had a better chance reaching third if the throw was coming from right than if it was coming from left, because 3b is closer to LF than it is to RF.
