1st NAKL Chat: LOCKED RULES ON PAGE 1

Personal life always more important, take your time as far as I'm concerned, you do a great job running the league. As far as the prospect draft, unless I'm mistaken, I don't have any picks so it can be done without me. I traded all my picks to put my team together. It will probably come back to bite me down the road but the championship was worth it.

Okay, I've sent out roster and set up the prospect draft thread.

Additionally, I've created the league and as soon as a team from the east enters I'll back out.

This league seems to have hit a doldrums, very little trade activity and very little chatter, I hope you all are still interested, cause it seems your interest may be waning, which may partially be my fault.

No waning interest from me, but my roster is pretty much set. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

That being said if anyone has interest in McCarthy let me know.

I've got a few guys I'd be willing to trade thanks to excesses at certain positions. However, I'll need them for season 2 this year. No waning interest here either.

This is what I'm talking about, no one has entered yet almost an entire day after the league was set up.... l

Well, 8 of us have our hands tied entering

I can't speak for the others, but this could be a tough time of the year. Without any statistics to prove me right or wrong, normal folks (being in retailing all my life, I'm not in this category) probably find this an ideal week to take off with 2 weekends and an extra Monday and in the last week of summer.

Now, and I've said it before, if not in this league, surely another....

Keeper leagues demand a little more time and effort than other interests. Unlike other hobbies, this one involves 11 other players whose time (believe it or not) is just as valuable as yours. While I'm not asking you to be a total loser like myself and check the boards constantly (I'll affectionately include Rosco in my group), keep in mind delays effect the 11 other players, be it drafting (how many times have we seen "timed out", or literally waiting 24 hours during non clock time picks), or starting a new season. If you can't be at least somewhat dedicated (and considerate of others), then a keeper league probably isn't your bag.
